PASSIVE VOICE PRESENT TENSE

 

Contoh :

            Active Voice    :     I learn English everyday.

            Passive Voice   :     English is learnt everyday.        <learnt atau learned>          

 

 

PASSIVE VOICE PAST TENSE

Contoh :

            Active Voice    :     I learnt English yesterday.

            Passive Voice   :     English was learnt yesterday

 

 

Exercise :  Make a passive voice form for bellow sentences.

1.   The factory workers work in the factory everyday.  

            In the factory is worked them everyday by them.

2.   Yanti eats some apples everyday.

            Some apples are eaten everyday by her.

 

3.   The director usually has lunch in the restaurant everyday.

            In the restaurant is usually had lunch everyday by him.

 

4.   Does the typist always type the letters neatly ?

            Are the letters always typed neatly by him ?

 

5.   Did the greengrocer sell the vegetables to the customer yesterday morning ?

            Were the vegetables sold to the customer yerterday morning by him ?

           

6.   Do they study the lessons every night ?

            Are the lessons studied every night by them ?

 

7.   I didn’t  drink the water this  morning.

            The water wasn’t  drunk this morning by me.

 

8.   Father bought some bananas in the shop this morning.         

            Some bananas were bought in the shop this morning by him.
