B.Inggris Praktis : Passive Voice


PASSIVE VOICE <KALIMAT PASIF>

Selalu mengunakan kata kerja betuk ketiga (Past Participle). Menggubah Object dari kalimat aktif menjadi Subject.


PASSIVE VOICE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
                                   
Contoh :
            Active Voice    :     I am driving the car now.
            Passive Voice   :     The car is being driven now by me.

Exercise : Make passive voice form for the sentences bellow 
1.   Mother is cooking rice in the kitchen now.
2.   The carpenter is making windows and doors now.
3.   Is the father reading a newspaper now ?
4.   Are the student learning English now ?
5.   The director is giving some letters to them now.

Answer :
1.   Mother is cooking rice in the kitchen now.
            Rice is being cooked in the kitchen now by her.
            In the kitchen is being cooked rice now by her.

2.   The carpenter is making windows and doors now.
            Windows and doors are being made now by him.

3.   Is the father reading a newspaper now ?
            Is a newspaper being read now by him ?

4.   Are the student learning English now ?
            English is being learned now by them ?

5.   The director is giving some letters to them now.
            Some letters are being given to them now by him ?        

Exercise :
1.   The man is writing some letters in the room now.
2.   Is the typist typing a letter now ?
3.   The girls are playing dolls in the room now.
