Menyatakan sesuatu setara/sebanding/sama dengan yang dibandingkan.

Rumus :

                                            As + Grade + As  

Contoh :

1.      Johnny is as clever as me.

2.      Hilda is as beautiful as Tuty.

3.      I’m as old as you.

Untuk kalimat negative :

                                       Not so + Grade  + as  

  

Contoh :

1.      I can not run so soon as you.

2.      She can not walk so fast as me.

3.      My mother isn’t so fat as your mother.
