Imperative tidak memakai subject.

Gunakan be jika bukan kata kerja.

4.   Drink the tea                                                 Don’t drink the tea

Exercise :

1.   Jangan mengetik surat itu.

            Don’t type the letter.

2.   Jangan tanda tangani surat-surat itu.

            Don’t sign the letters.

3.   Latihlah pelajaran itu berkali-kali.

            Exercise the lesson time to time.

4.   Jangan bersedih

            Don’t be sad.

5.   Jangan marah kepada mereka

            Don’t be angry to them.

6.   Jangan menyeberangi sungai yang dalam itu.

            Don’t cross the deep river

7.   Berbicaralah perlahan-lahan.

            Speak slowly.

8.   Kendarailah kendaraan itu dengan hati-hati.

            Drive the car carefully.
