B. Inggris Praktis : Adverb Of Place & Adverb Of Time

<KETERANGAN TAMBAHAN TEMPAT & WAKTU>

Adverb Of Place <keterangan tempat> selalu medahului Adverb Of Place <keterangan Waktu>.

Contoh :

                  It’s a warm here to day.

                              Here    = Adverb of Place

                              To day = Adverb of Time.

Adverb of Time Khusus selalu mendahuli Adverb of Time Umum.

Contoh :

                  He goes to the office at 7 o’clock every day.

                              To the office = Adverb of Place

                              At 7 o’clock = Adverb of Time khusus

                              Every day    = Adverb of Time umum.     

Exercice :  Arrage the given Adverb of palce and time in brackets.

1.   She drinks coffee (every morning, at home).

            She drinks coffee at home every morning.

2.   The train arrives (in the afternoon, at 3 o’clock).

            The trains arrives at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

3.   The clerk meets his wife (at seven, at the station, in the evening).

            The clerk meets his wife at the station at seven in the evening.

     

4.   The farmers work (in his fields, every day).

            The farmers work in his fields every day.

5.   The aeroplane flies (once a week, to Hongkong).

            The aeroplane flies to Hongkong once a week.

6.   Father reads a news paper (in the living room, in the afternoon, at 4 o’clock).

            Father reads a news paper in the living room at 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

7.   Mr. Rakhim teaches us algebra (on Suturday, at school).

            Mr. Rakhim reaches us algebra at school on Saturday.

8.   The milk man brings milk ( to our house,  in the morning, at 5.30).

            The milk man brings milk to our house at 5.30 in the morning.

9.   The doctor is (at the hospital, at night).

            The doctor is at the hospital at night.

10. My uncle works (until six, in the garden).

            My uncle works in the garden until six.
