Digunakan
untuk menyatakan pekerjaan yang telah/pernah/sudah atau belum dilakukan dimasa
lampau.
Past
Tense juga digunakan untuk menyatakan pekerjaan/kejadian dimasa lampau, hanya
saja past tense menitik beratkan pada keterangan waktu.
Skema
:
Keterangan
waktu yag biasa digunakan : since, for, before,
ever, never, just, yet, already.
Example
:
I have been here since (sejak)
yesterday.
My father has been busy for
(selama) five hours.
I have gone to Bali
before.
Tony has seen me.
a. Untuk kata kerja
(+) She has tried to study hard.
(-) She
has not tried to study hard.
(?) Has she tried to study hard ?
(+) I have gone to Bali

b. Untuk bukan kata kerja

She has been sick for two days.

Note : kata since atau for menandai kalimat tsb bukan kata
kerja.
