B. Inggris Praktis : Reflexife Pronoun

Reflexive Pronoun dipakai untuk menyatakan mengenai diri sendiri.

Contoh :

      I always wash myself in the washroom.

      Are you enjoying yourself now ?

      He never cuts himself.

      Siti is looking at herself  in the mirror.

      The dog is scratching itself.

      We are making ourselves  too tired.

      Why do all of you hurt yourselves.

      The soldiers are defending themselves in the fortrees.

 

Kata-kata yang dicetak miring dan tebal adalah Reflexife Pronoun yang adalah juga object.

Perhatikan bahwa subject dan object pada kalimat diatas adalah sama personnya.

Bentuk Reflexive Pronoun juga dipakai dalam Emphatic Pronoun. Ini adalah pronoun yang menguatkan Subject.

Contoh    :  I want to do it myself.
