B.Inggris Praktis : Shall / Will Form (Simple Future Tense)

Rumus :

        

Contoh : 

                I shall stay at home next Sunday. My parents will go out and my little sister will go to her friend’s house.

               I shall water the flowers in the garden in the morning. My little sister will go back home at about eleven and we shall do our homework together.

               I shall stay at home

               I shall be at home at three.

               We shall study together.

               We shall be three next week.

               You will do it again.

               He  will come soon.

               It will make you ill.

               They will be here in a moment.

               She  will repeat the lesson.

Penggunaan :

1.   Ada desakan dari luar (orang lain).

      Contoh :

               We shall have English lesson tomorrow.

     

               Mau tidak mua kita akan mendapatkan pelajaran bahasa Inggris besok, karena begitulah jadwal  yang telah disusun sekolah.

2.   Sesuatu yang tidak dapat dielakan.                                      

      Contoh :

               Tomorrow will be Tuesday.

               My grandfather will be seventy next February.

               Walau bagaimanapun kakek pasti mengalaminya bulan Februari yang akan datang akan berumur 70 tahun, suka atau tidak suka.

      Catatan :

               Kata kerja otomatis jangan digunakan  dalam be going to form. Contoh kata kerja otomatis misalnya understand, know.

               I am going to understand it   <salah>

               I shall understand it.              <benar>

               Shall not = shan’t

               Will not = won’t.
