a. Menyatakan
kebiasaan yang sampai sekarang masih sering dilakukan (habitual actions).
b. Menyatakan
kegiatan rutin, berulang-ulang/biasa dilakukan.
c. Menyatakan
suatu kenyataan/kebenaran umum (general
truth).
d. Menyatakan
perintah atau permintaan.
Ditandai dengan kata : Always (selalu), seldom
(jarang), usually (biasanya) , sometime (kadang-kadang), often (sering).
Catatan :
Untuk kalimat
tanya menggunakan Who tidak pakai kata kerja bantu do/does.
